Private Tours

Alegre Farm is excited to announce private tours are now available for the whole family.

Coming to a working farm is such a unique experience that we are offering private tour visits to give an even more personal touch for your whole family to enjoy. Get up close with the animals and get behind the scenes of what it’s like in a day of farming with a guide to take you on a walking tour of our 15-acre farm. For the safety of our staff and guests. See what’s in season in our raised-bed garden! Check out the different ways we compost at Alegre Farm and what animal excels at helping us get the job done, which will surprise you to know what we call the most important animal on the farm. Continue on to the busy bees and learn a little beekeeping 101!  Next, stop is the petting zoo as you go to meet our nanny goats and see goat milking in action. Inside the petting zoo, you will feed our donkey, goats, sheep, and our ponies.  You might even get the opportunity to hold a chicken and collect eggs! Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy under a pavilion on the farm.

Your family will create beautiful memories, have fun, and learn more about the work and importance of farmers in our communities.
