Alegre Farm is excited to announce private tours now available for the whole family.
Coming to a working farm is such a unique experience that we are offering private tour visits to give an even more personal touch for your whole family to enjoy. Get up close with the animals and get behind the scenes of what it’s like in a day of farming with a guide to take you on a walking tour on our 15-acre farm. For the safety of our staff and guests, masks will be required at all times. Thank you for your understanding.
See what’s in season in our raised-bed garden! Check out the different ways we compost at Alegre Farm and what animal excels at helping us get the job done, which will surprise you to know what we call the most important animal on the farm.
Continue on to the busy bees and learn a little beekeeping 101! Next stop is the petting zoo as you go to meet our nanny goats and see goat milking in action. Inside the petting zoo, you will feed our donkey, goats, sheep, and our ponies. You might even get the opportunity to hold a chicken and collect eggs!
Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy under a pavilion on the farm. Once your done, come visit our farmers market with fresh and delicious goods crafted by Alegre Farm.
Your family will create beautiful memories, have fun, and learn more about the work and importance of farmers in our communities.
For questions on private tours, please email email@example.com or call/text 770-339-3065, ext. 4. Please know we are busy working on the farm and will get back to you as soon as possible.
- Private tours begin at 10:00 am to give you the scope of farm life from milking the goats to feeding the animals. We like to consider our animals in this manner as they are used to a schedule. Other times are available over the phone but may interrupt usual activities for a private tour.
- Private tours pricing starts at $275 for 6 guests, with an option to add a maximum of 6 guests. Tour with picnic will last about 2 hours. Additional options, like games and pony rides, can be added to your event.
- Your private tour is not confirmed until a staff member approves your selected date and time. For the safety of our staff and guests, masks will be required at all times.
Please know that due to precautions of keeping our staff safe in light of Covid-19, we ask that social distancing is practiced and masks be used for the duration of your guided tour. Some experiences may vary based on season, Covid-19, and the unpredictability of farm life. Guests who do not follow these guidelines will unfortunately be asked to not partake in tour.
