Alegre Farm is a working farm and event facility. We are always looking to expand our volunteer family and need to add some smiling faces to our seasonal staffing. Most of our events and educational experiences center around children so liking to work with kids is a must.

Seasonal Staffing: If you are looking for a summer job or want to pick up some extra work we would love to speak with you. Also, we have some specific contract opportunities coming up in the next few months for Birthday Parties, Field Trips, Summer Camps/Day Camps, Weddings, Banquets and other Special Events. All paid positions are for ages 16 and over.

Volunteers: If you want to get some dirt under your nails and maybe grow some veggies to take home, we have a spot for you too! We are in need of volunteers for the garden, greenhouse, aquaponics, composting, chicken production, milk production/collection, and other future farm projects. If you are 12 and over please apply for one of our volunteer positions and see how fun the farm can be.

Alegre Farm aspires to become the premier agricultural learning, gathering and entertainment destination for the greater Atlanta area, seeking to create memorable experiences while fostering respect and understanding of the farming community.

We are looking for exceptional team members who relate to our vision.

Education is at the heart of Alegre Farm as we offer hands-on field trips primarily to all grade levels, but also open the farm on certain dates to the community. We are seeking teachers who can guide visiting groups through our interactive learning stations. Team members must be willing to be cross-trained and available for other events, such as birthday parties, community outreach, and traveling field trips/parties.

Though not required, those with farm, pony and tractor ride, and/or teaching experience are preferred. But if you are willing to learn and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, we offer all the training to make you ready to teach.
